Brainwash wants to “wash” your brains! The definition of the word brainwash is to make people believe only what you want them to believe; however, this is a more positive, beneficial, loving and healthy Brainwash. The organization wants to make individuals, who have suffered traumatic brain injuries and have other physical and psychological disabilities to realize all the potential they have, and empower them to overcome any obstacle. Also, Brainwash wants the integration of persons with disabilities with other groups of people through the power of yoga.
Hi everybody! Welcome to Brainwash, I hope you guys enjoy it. The idea of the organization came from my personal experiences. I am a former Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) patient and a register yoga teacher (RYT), this combination has helped me to overcome different obstacles during my recovery. For example, I wasn’t able to walk, and talk, thanks to the spiritual (never religious), mental and physical benefits of yoga, I’m able to even drive and sing!!! Hahaha, not really sing, but I’m almost there. I would like to help others in similar circumstances to appreciate and see from a positive perspective any kind of situation they are going through.
